A lovely 10 cm bechiceras ammonite from the Green Ammonite bed, Charmouth beach. 
In a sculpted matrix, the ammonite has had no restoration or repairs, it is naturally beach worn on one edge. 
Base support on the rear to allow it to free stand. 
 
Lower Pliensbachian, Stonebarrow Marl Member, Charmouth Mudstone Formation, Green ammonite beds.
