A uncommon beach worn stone packed with Xipheroceras, Asteroceras, promicroceras and Cymbites ammonites. The wave action on the beach has ground off the reverse, allowing for the calcite to be translucent when a light is held behind the piece
Found on Charmouth beach, Jurassic coast, UK
Measuring 14 cm across it's widest part when found, the piece was broken in half, this has been glued
