A large and uncommon 15 cm Androgynoceras lataecosta Macroconch (female) ammonite. Found on Charmouth beach originating from the Green ammonite nodule bed.
The ammonite displays a perfect centre and some deep colouring within a large round nodule.
No restoration or repairs.
Lower Pliensbachian, Stonebarrow Marl Member, Charmouth Mudstone Formation, Green ammonite beds.
