A stunning double piece containing two 20 mm Xipheroceras ammonites, the reverse of the matrix has been tunnelled into to show the colourful calcite when a light is shined behind them - this effect could also be achieved by placing the piece on a sunny windowsill.
No restoration or repairs, freestanding on a cut base.
