22 cm Oistoceras with bechiceras, Lower Pliensbachian, Charmouth
A uncommon multi Oistoceras figulinum ammonite piece with multiple ammonites, gastropods and belemnites, all resting on a Bechiceras ammonite, it's possible that the accumulation of fossils in this piece is because everything was washed into the body chamber of the large Bechiceras ammonite. The largest Oistoceras ammonite measures 4.5 cm, the piece measures 22 cm across it's widest part. From the Green Ammonite beds - found on Charmouth beach. A really attractive and unusual display piece.
