A vary rare and unique piece containing multiple Oistoceras ammonites, numerous bivalves, gastropods and more, all inside the body chamber of a larger Bechiceras sp. Ammonite. The outer shell of the ammonite has been removed to expose the fossils within. The piece measures 27.5 cm across it's widest part. 
 
When found the nodule was broken, this has been glued. No restoration, free standing on a cut base.  
 
Lower Pliensbachian, Stonebarrow Marl Member, Charmouth Mudstone Formation, Green ammonite beds.
