34 cm Septarian ammonite bed with Xipheroceras and others, from Charmouth

A large unique stunning piece measuring 34 cm across filled with Xipheroceras, Promicroceras and Cymbites ammonites in each chamber seperated with calcite septarian veins and a long piece of calcified wood running through the centre. 

 

No repairs or restoration, the piece was broken in half when found and has been glued but this does not show. 

The piece originates from the Stellare Septarian nodule bed.
