38 cm Multi ammonite bed with Caenisites and others, from Charmouth
A stunning large and uncommon piece with excellent ammonite clarity - filled with larger Caenisites Turneri and Microderoceras accompanied by hundreds of smaller Promicroceras and Cymbites ammonites. Measuring 38 cm across it's widest part.
When found this piece was broken in two and has been glued together, this is visible from the back but can't be seen on the front.
The piece originates from the popcorn stone.
