Large double Androgynoceras lataecosta, Lower Pliensbachian, Stonebarrow beach
A uncommon 'double' green ammonite nodule containing two Androgynoceras lataecosta ammonites measuring 11.5 cm and 10 cm. It also has a small belemnite and a belemnite phragmocone from the the Green Ammonite beds - found on Charmouth beach. the nodule measures 36 cm across it's widest part. This piece has had no restoration and has excellent preservation.
Lower Pliensbachian, Stonebarrow Marl Member, Charmouth Mudstone Formation, Green ammonite beds.
