Xipheroceras, Asteroceras, wood, etc nodule. Lower Lias, Charmouth
A interesting piece, featuring a 4.5 cm Xipheroceras drudrieseri, a few uncommon small and partial Asteroceras margaratoides and some cymbites ammonites. There is also a piece of wood in the piece which could provide a reason for why it's so packed as they may have washed against it in life. The nodule measures 12.5 cm across it's widest part.
Lower Jurassic, Lower lias, Obtusum zone.
